I know just how important your family memories are. This is why I take the utmost care throughout the entire conversion process. After reading, you will know exactly how I handle your video tapes should you decide to convert with me!
Conversion Process
Upon your order’s arrival to Fahy Media Conversions, I will gather your information and inspect the tapes for any physical damage.
If there are any physical issues (such as damaged or moldy tapes) before conversion begins, next steps will be discussed regarding how to repair the damage should you decide to move forward.
If issues occur during the conversion, here is what I do:
Should any issues arise during the conversion process, conversion of that specific tape immediately stops and I will notify you regarding next steps.
After the conversion has completed, I then restore each capture for optimal results.
This restoration includes basic color correction, a proper de-interlace, and an overscan crop for optimal viewing.
When I have finished converting and restoring your tapes…
…I will contact you to arrange a payment method and pickup of your conversions and originals.
Once the payment is received…
…I carefully package your conversions and originals and ensure their safe return to you.
Two weeks after you receive your conversion…
…I will reach out with a quick survey to see how you are enjoying your conversions.
NEVER throw away your originals – keep them safe as backup copies of your precious memories!
